Background Business Challenge

GRG Banking is one of the top five manufacturers in the world for ATMs. Solutions range from entry-level, lobbystyle cash dispensers to full-function machines that include check deposits. GRG International is a strategic partner providing services to banks and merchants in Asia, North America, Europe and Australian regions.

ATMs are dependent on a secure network and platform. As GRG began to enter the Australian market, it was necessary for the company to identify a reliable partner that could support its ATM network requirements. GRG needed a reliable solution that could facilitate its ATM deployments throughout Australia.

GRG required a payments partner who could help implement single and multiple connectivity requirements, depending on the customer’s site requirements. Through a combination of service, product, and expertise, TNS has configured a secure network system that offers GRG a secure network with the flexibility and scalability of broadband technology. As part of its fully managed ATM connectivity solution, the TNS solution is adaptable to support GRG’s single and multiple ATM environments. After considering solutions from various connectivity providers, including a local Australian Telecommunications company, GRG selected TNS’ suite of Managed Connectivity Solutions. As part of this service, GRG is using TNSLink broadband for ATMs, a secure solution that offers network monitoring to ensure a reliable connection between ATMs and acquirers. TNSLink provides support for multiple ATMs and as part of the TNS service, GRG also has access to TNS’ PCI DSS certified backbone network, and TNS’ Remote Management Service, a 24-hour monitoring and support service and online reporting tool. This ensures real-time response in the event of disruption to connections.
