We chose TNS due to a number of factors, including its excellent reputation, its secure payments network, and its ongoing ability to support Westfield.

Online Shopping Available on Westfield Australia’s Virtual Shopping Centre

Westfield Australia is part of the Westfield Group, which operates one of the world’s largest shopping centre portfolios. In the last few years, Australians have shown a growing interest in online shopping and Westfield Australia wanted to implement a convenient virtual shopping mall where customers can find their favourite retailers and enjoy a one-stop, online shopping experience.

The westfield.com.au website currently showcases the best Australian retailers, particularly in the Fashion & Accessories categories. The concept allows customers to interact in this virtual shopping centre and search, compare and shop by product type, category, store, brand, price, size, sale promotions items, as well as keyword search.

Business Challenge

To launch this online shopping site, Westfield needed an experienced payments provider that offered secure, fast, and reliable payment processing capabilities with major banks in Australia and around the world. Westfield was also aware of the growing requirements of PCI compliance and wanted a secure payments environment from a provider that would allow the Westfield website to maintain its branding integrity. The payments infrastructure needed to seamlessly integrate into Westfield’s website and shopping cart applications and help make the shopping checkout experience positive for customers.

By applying the TNSPay gateway solution, Westfield has access to a secure eCommerce service allowing it to leverage TNS’ expertise and resources to launch its online store while addressing the burden of PCI DSS compliance. TNSPay’s flexible benefits are also scalable and the system can grow with Westfield’s online requirements.
