ISOs and Acquirers back TNS' Wireless Payment Gateway
An increasing number of ISOs and acquirers are turning to Transaction Network Services (TNS) to meet their needs for a reliable, full-featured wireless payment gateway for their merchants.
TNS’ Synapse gateway has recently been adopted by a number of new strategic ISO partners, bringing the number of organizations relying on Synapse to serve their clients to well over 100.
Synapse provides a robust, reliable and secure solution for ISOs and acquirers to manage their portfolio of wireless point-of-sale (POS) terminals. TNS maintains PCI DSS certification for the Synapse processing environment which helps ISOs and acquirers achieve their goal of providing solutions to their merchants that allow transactions to be processed securely.

Synapse is now certified for a range of VeriFone and Hypercom terminals, including the Hypercom Optimum M4230 and T4230 and VeriFone’s popular NURIT, VX and Way product lines. In addition to traditional wireless terminals, Synapse also supports merchants who want to use their smart phone devices to accept payments from customers.

In addition to new equipment certified for Synapse, TNS has also recently further integrated its platform with the provisioning systems of wireless service providers to speed up the activation process for POS terminals that ISOs and acquirers deploy. The net result is a merchant who is set up and transacting more quickly, as well as a better streamlined process for the ISO and acquirer.
To focus its development and keep Synapse at the forefront of the payments industry, TNS has formed an advisory council with a number of ISOs. The council will play a role in the future of Synapse and will collaborate to discuss the product roadmap.
