How Intercarrier SMS Works

TNS Intercarrier SMS helps you successfully send and receive your subscribers’ SMS messages across the city or around the world.

A subscriber creates and sends a message; the message is routed through the SMSC and passed to TNS. The message and destination address are analyzed to determine where and how the message should be routed.

All formatting and translations are then applied, the information is logged, and the message is routed to the appropriate network. In addition, TNS can route data to web-based applications, including email or website services.
