TNS ISUP Trunk Signaling

ISUP Trunk Signaling performs out-of-band call set-up and tear-down using the ISUP layer of the SS7 protocol. ISUP Trunk Signaling allows your subscribers to experience virtually instant connections and allows you to deploy a full range of advanced intelligent network services such as TCAP CLASS Messaging and Calling Name.

Coverage & Reliability

ISUP service is critical to call processing, so TNS has employed an ILEC access strategy using only the TNS network.

With one connection, TNS Trunk Signaling provides direct access to more wireline and wireless operators, CLECs, ITCs, IXCs, 3rd party, cable and VoIP providers than any other SS7 network provider, including direct connectivity all Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs) and all major ILECs for Local Access and Transport Areas (LATAs).

The combination of our ILEC Access strategy and direct access more of your signaling partners minimizes the number of hops in the message path and results in more efficient routing, fewer points of failure and faster trouble resolution.

The TNS SS7 network is designed for maximum diversity and routing efficiency and is monitored using state-of-the-art surveillance tools by our Network Surveillance and Control Center (NSCC).
