ISUP Trunk Signaling performs out-of-band call set-up and tear-down using the ISUP layer of the SS7 protocol. ISUP service is critical to call processing, so TNS has employed an ILEC access strategy using only the TNS network.
With one connection, TNS Trunk Signaling provides direct access to more wireline and wireless operators, CLECs, ITCs, IXCs, 3rd party, cable and VoIP providers than any other SS7 network provider, including direct connectivity all Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs) and all major ILECs for Local Access and Transport Areas (LATAs).
